PerfectBookkeeping LLC (“PerfectBookkeeping,” “we,” “us”) operates perfectbookkeeping.com and the Perfect Bookkeeping app (together, the “Services”). This policy explains what personal data we collect from visitors and users (“you”), how we use and share it, and your choices. By using the Services, you agree to this policy; if we plan to use your data in a materially different way, we’ll tell you before we do.
Information We Collect
- Account and contact data you give us directly: name, mailing address, mobile phone number, email, and anything you submit through inquiries or surveys.
- Usage data collected automatically via cookies and similar technology: pages visited, referring site, and how you interact with the Services. This data doesn’t identify you personally; we may pool it with other data for aggregate analytics.
- Cookies keep you signed in and help us measure Site usage. You can disable them in your browser, though some features may work less well without them.
How We Use Your Information
We use your data for the purpose you gave it to us — for example, to provide the Services, respond to inquiries, and maintain your account. Marketing emails always include an opt-out link; administrative messages necessary to the Service (billing, service notices) can’t be opted out of. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS from PerfectBookkeeping related to your account, including:
- One-time passcodes (OTP) for login verification and password reset
- Invitation notices when a business Owner or Co-owner adds you to their account
Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. We send no marketing or promotional texts, and your number is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Reply STOP to opt out — this stops all texts, including OTPs and invitation links, so you’ll need an alternate method (email verification or contacting support) to log in or accept an invitation. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us below.
Your Choices
You can use the Site without providing personal data, though this may limit access to certain Services. To update, correct, or remove personal data we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from marketing email, contact us using the details below.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please use discretion when sharing information with us.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party sites we don’t control. This policy applies only to our Site; we encourage you to review the privacy practices of any linked site separately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time without prior notice. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy. Please check back periodically.
